IS Mechanical (REEIS AZ Inc. DBA IS Mechanical) was founded in 2009 to provide a whole house solution to air conditioning. Originally branded under the name REEIS, IS Mechanical soon became an industry leader in the HVAC space. In 2011, IS Mechanical became the largest Home Performance with Energy Star contractor in the nation. Home Performance with Energy Star is a program where the HVAC contractor takes a whole house approach to HVAC. This focus delivers a better overall product as a contractor of this specialty looks at more than just the HVAC system but the air flow, the thermal envelope, pressure mapping, fresh air, ventilation and the equipment’s performance.

As code has changed and the industry has become more focused on the HVAC System performance, our whole house, home performance roots enabled IS Mechanical to become a leader in HVAC new construction and retrofits.  

Today, IS Mechanical is the leading commercial and multifamily HVAC in Arizona. With hundreds of projects and 10s of thousands of units installed, IS Mechanical has the expertise and the team to execute your commercial or multi-family HVAC projects.

Every job starts with identifying potential project related site hazards and completing our pre-site safety checklist to ensure quality safety of our team. Our tools and equipment undergo regular inspections, and we promote a safety-first culture through clear communication and emergency preparedness.

IS Mechanical is a systems and process-based company.   Our standard operating protocol includes measures to measure and ensure quality installation with lower failure rates.   Whether it be examples of best installation practices such as our multi-stage pressurization and verification process for linesets, water testing condensates at several stages of construction or our complete post-start-up quality inspection process, our installation practices are best in the industry.

IS Mechanical has invested heavily in technology as a comprehensive quality and best practice assurance system.  We are probably the only mechanical contractor who has comprehensive picture, video and form documentation of every stage of the installation process.  This verification and documentation process provides for not only the highest quality adherence but substantive post construction tracking and data.  

Giving Back

Through our efforts, we aim to foster a culture of giving that extends well beyond our work to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

While most HVAC contractors in Valley of the Sun are now owned and operated by private equity or consolidation firms, IS Mechanical and its sister companies under the IS Companies umbrella are all locally owned and operated.   Giving back to the community we live, and work is a core value. As a company, we know that our success is directly tied to the well-being of our customers and neighbors, so we actively seek opportunities to make a positive impact.

IS Companies give back and donations are focused on children’s charities in the greater Phoenix Arizona area. We have made significant donations to such charities as: Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, PANDA and Child’s Help. IS Companies is also very generous to smaller organizations such as our employee’s schools, little leagues and other community organizations.  

One of our proudest initiatives is the Reeis COOL FOR PCH fundraiser, personally orchestrated by our owner, to support Phoenix Children's Hospital. This effort helped provide much-needed funding for pediatric care, reinforcing our commitment to helping families in need. Our 2024 Cool For PCH fundraising campaign donated over $112,000 to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation last year.  

Beyond fundraising, we give back through charitable HVAC installations, community sponsorships, and technician volunteer work. Whether it’s assisting families with essential heating and cooling needs or supporting local organizations, we are dedicated to making a difference where it matters most.
