Established in 2009, IS Mechanical is a full-service commercial contracting firm delivering end-to-end solutions in multifamily, industrial and commercial applications.
IS Mechanical is a family owned and operated commercial mechanical contracting company. IS Mechanical is part of the IS Companies, a series of HVAC and plumbing commercial and residential contracting companies located in Arizona.
The IS Mechanical division is focused on delivering the best quality HVAC solutions for multifamily and commercial projects.
As Arizona’s leader in new construction multifamily HVAC installation, IS Mechanical has installed 10,000’s of HVAC systems multifamily, student housing, assisted care, hotels, condominium and townhome projects since 2011 and 1,000,000’s of square feet of commercial HVAC installation.
IS Mechanical has a long-standing reputation for delivering projects on time, on budget and maintaining positive mutually beneficial relationships with our development and general contracting partners.
History
2009
Founded in 2009, IS Mechanical was originally branded REEIS.
2010 - 2013
REEIS/IS Mechanical was the largest Home Performance with Energy Star HVAC contractor auditor in the nation.
2011
REEIS/IS Mechanical entered the new construction residential working with multiple national and local builders as an HVAC contractor.
2012
REEIS/IS Mechanical completed its first multifamily project.
2013
REEIS/IS Mechanical completed its first commercial project.
2015
REEIS/IS Mechanical first year with over 100 outside operation employees.
2016
REEIS/IS Mechanical opened its Prescott office.
2017
REEIS/IS Mechanical became the largest volume Trane dealer in Arizona.
2018
IS Companies were founded as the residential and commercial brands becameseparate entities. REEIS AZ Inc. changed its name from REEIS Air Conditioning to ISMechanical. The formal name is REEIS AZ Inc. DBA IS Mechanical. The IS Mechanical logo was formed from the original REEIS logo. IS Mechanical became IS Companies commercial and multifamily division and all single family residential was moved to the REEIS brand.
REEIS completed a complete rebrand and a new entity was formed. REEIS AC LLCDBA REEIS. REEIS became the home service and custom home HVAC contractor.
2019
IS Companies expanded their design build capacity beyond custom residential to full scale commercial projects including but not limited to high rise buildings, multifamily and commercial projects.
IS Companies breaks 200 outside operations employees.
2020
IS Companies become the largest VRF dealer for multiple brands in the State of Arizona including but not limited to Daikin, Lennox, Mitsubishi/Trane and Hisense.
2022
IS Companies become the largest residential Mitsubishi/Trane VRF dealer in thenation. Arizona including but not limited to Daikin, Lennox, Mitsubishi/Trane andHisense.
2023
IS Companies begin implementing their Performance Leadership training programs with one-on-one coaching from Navy Seal Chief Jason Cooper.
2024
IS Companies acquires NorthStar Plumbing and expands into plumbing services.
IS Companies opens REEIS Electrical and expands into electrical services.
2025
Northstar Plumbing is rebranded to revive the 1983 brand started by the industry legend Tony Verdoia.
